General Directions (scroll down for map and pictures)

From North of Wilmington, DE: Take I-95 South to I-495 South (this bypasses local Wilmington traffic). Continue on 495 until it exits back onto I-95 South. Continue on I-95 South past the exit for Christiana and Rt. 4. You will be exiting at Rt. 273 (West). Take Rt. 273 West for several miles. When you approach the central business/university district of Newark, Rt. 273 becomes Main Street (one way traffic, westbound). Continue west on Main Street. At the end of the business district, Main Street "splits" three ways. You will want to stay straight. Cross the railroad tracks. Main Street now becomes West Main Street (still Rt. 273). At the first light, the road becomes Nottingham Road; continue straight, westbound on Nottingham Road. You will pass a country club and a golf course on your right. Continue past the intersection of Nottingham and Radcliffe Drive (there will be a sign for "Nottingham Green" on your right). 409 Nottingham Road will come up shortly, on your left, directly opposite the 35 MPH speed limit sign.

From points within Delaware: You will need to get to Rt. 273; my office is located in my house, which is west of the central business and university district of Newark, and immediately north of a residential section called "Nottingham Green." If you are approaching from eastern, southeastern or northeastern Delaware, when you approach the central business/university district of Newark, Rt. 273 becomes Main Street (one way traffic, westbound). Continue west on Main Street. At the end of the business district, Main Street "splits" three ways. You will want to stay straight. Cross the railroad tracks. Main Street now becomes West Main Street (still Rt. 273). At the first light, the road becomes Nottingham Road; continue straight, westbound on Nottingham Road. You will pass a country club and a golf course on your right. If you are coming from Pennsylvania (Chester County), Maryland (Cecil County), or other points west, northwest or southwest of Newark, you will want to get to Rt. 273 East, heading toward Newark. My home office is located just a few miles east of the Delaware/Maryland border, and about 10 miles southeast of the Delaware/Pennsylvania border. It will be on your right, with the country club golf course on your left.

Everyone: Pull into the driveway. Preferably, you should park on the left but if there are no open spots it is usually OK to park in front of one of the garage doors. The entrance to the office is around back. The door to the waiting room is a sliding glass door and it will be unlocked. When you enter the waiting room, have a seat and make yourself comfortable. Dr. Eichel will invite you into the office at your appointment time.
